Esther Pizarro's work is located in a perspective close to an ontology or even a phenomenology of man and the city, perceiving its catastrophic emergence in contemporary times. To this end, he makes use of fundamental figures in the representation of new urban spaces, such as "The wandering man, sometimes a stranger to himself" moving in a problematised scenario, representing space in a superimposed way inwards or outwards (the man synthesis of the different spaces of fragmented or dispersed cities, which converge in him in the form of a diversity of cultural memories
confronted in experiences of all kinds; men reflecting inwardly on the anomalous societies we inhabit, in many cases overcrowded.
in many cases overcrowded, splintered or unstable. Figures-imaginary that recreate or merge cities in themselves and that can correspond to real or fictitious times, with reference to immediate or mediate pasts, to presents that in turn are transformed into preterit or even to futures generated from the uncertainties of today, with the aim of establishing coordinates that allow us to characterise the "sayings" and "doings" in our city at the end of the century.

Bodily representations that can multiply and move, as socially demanded, facing all kinds of obstacles. Urban passers-by who help us to recognise the changing skin of the city in its versions of traveller, visitor, discoverer or conflictive inhabitant, who evidence the resistance or transgressions of the environment.
