The installation Liquid Stained Glass proposes a revision of the concept of stained glass in the form of a helicoidal cascade of glass test tubes; inside which coloured water deconstructs the traditional vision we have of a stained glass window. The Modernist Movement frees stained glass from its religious functionality to appropriate its incredible optical effects. The proposal is articulated as a three-dimensional stained glass window that folds in on itself, occupying the central stairwell of the staircase of the Modernist Museum, Can Prunera (Soller, Mallorca). Its route introduces the spectator to a perceptive, immersive and ephemeral experience. The Miró palette is present in the play of colours proposed inside the crystalline test tubes that make up this particular stained-glass window.
