OPPENING: “Ecologías Fragmentadas :: Contaminación Hídrica (42º30´52´´N; 0º21´6´´W)”, Diputación de Huesca

Everything is ready for the opening of FRAGMENTED ECOLOGIES: WATER POLLUTION (42º30´52´´N; 0º21´6´´W), next Friday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m. in the exhibition hall of the Provincial Council of Huesca. We wait for you!

Fragmented Ecologies :: Water Pollution (42º30´52´´N; 0º21´6´´W) is based on an artistic investigation carried out by Esther Pizarro that visualizes, through three-dimensional and installation language, the existing problems in water pollution in our rivers. The exhibition is articulated as a story that immerses the viewer in different scales, and is associated with a case study linked to the territory of Huesca, the lindane contamination of the Gállego River.

The project, which was the winner of the Ramón Acín 2021 call for Artistic Creation and Research Contracts, organized by the Provincial Council of Huesca, has also had the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports in its call for Aid for the Promotion of Contemporary Art Spanish 2022. In parallel with the exhibition, a publication has been published that collects the results of the research, with texts by the artist herself and David Barro.
