🌱 A new article by Esther Pizarro and Miguel Ángel Rego has just been published in EcoHabitar Magazine:

“Thinking Through Materials: Creative Methodologies to Imagine Sustainable Futures”.

The article explores how playing, experimenting, and designing with bio-based materials can transform our relationship with the environment through art, design, and education. Within the EcoMat project, materials are understood not as passive supports, but as active agents that shape thinking, experience, and change.

It discusses methodologies such as Material Driven Design and Material Tinkering, the role of experimental labs, and the sensory, cultural, and ecological dimensions of biomaterials—framing them as part of a regenerative material culture.
